If your boys haven't discovered the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz, the book trailer at the link I've added below will definitely help to entice them to try one of the books! The trailer is professionally created, has sound, animation, and all of the elements of a spy thriller! Check it out! (And be sure to send us any that you discover, too!)

"WMHS Rebels Read" Book Blog Debuts
We debuted our high school's first blog, "WMHS Rebels Read" today during Teen Read Week. The URL is http://rebelsread.blogspot.com/
It is a moderated blog that will allows students and teachers to post comments about what they are reading. We sent out flyers to the English teachers to post in their classrooms to help encourage students to participate and invited the English teachers to become charter blog members. We hope this will become a forum for book discussion and provide a means of sharing great reads.

"Get Johnny Reading!"
"Get Johnny Reading!"
Does anyone know of a graphic novel that is subscription-based like a magazine? I read somewhere that you could subscribe to one that would be sent each month/weekly, etc. that could be checked out like a magazine. Anyone know about these?
Also, has anyone ordered graphic novels or other books from Markin? On lm_net today someone wrote that this company is the one they order hardbound graphic novels from. I am not familiar with this company.
